This Is What 50 Looks Like

Bob turned 50 years old on September 5th.  Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined myself with a 50 year old.  ha ha.  (Back up... revise...) Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that 50 would be so darn good looking!!

Bob spent his 50th Birthday in Chicago with me picking out our Spring/Summer '08 lines.  Not much of a 50th birthday.  But, we made the most of it by inviting our very good friends, Ryan (from Corso Como) and Steve (from Jessica Bennett) out to dinner.  And though Carrie (from Oh Deer) made reservations for us at her favorite Steak House (thank you so much!) we ventured instead to Ryan's pick "Tavern on Rush" for an elegant dinner, great drinks, enormous laughs and a waiter that was willing to put up with us!

Then, off to "POPS" (a Champagne Bar) to celebrate in high style with many more of our friends in the shoe business including: Rich & Mark (Tsubo), Steve Green (Kenneth Cole Reaction), Derek Butler (Blowfish), and Johnny Finneran.

Thank you all for making Bob's night so special.  And  thank you Bob for sacraficing a 50th birthday party for shoe shopping.  I love you!

Awww! Thanks for the nice compliments…..I don’t feel a day over 14. It’s never a sacrafice to spend time shoe shopping with such a beautiful woman and thanks to those who celebrated with me, it was a riot.
