Devan Marie Pearls are from Zhu Jiang river (prounounced Jew Jung) in China, which is where the majority of cultured pearls around the world are cultured. The natural color of pearls are purple, pink, and white and range of colors between. The black ones are died to look like Tahitian pearls, the only natural black pearls in the world, which are very rare and cannot be cultured, making them extremely expensive. I am so thrilled (and kind of floored actually) at our customer's faithfulness. THANK YOU all so much. We announce a sale on Monday (like the legwear sale) and by Wednesday we're almost out of legwear ($6-$24). We have reordered tights (and thigh highs and nylons) and they should be in sometime next week. We received our Character Mittens on a Friday a few weeks ago and they sold out completely by Saturday ($27). 24 hours in the store and we didn't get to move them from counter to shelf. We have more coming in with a wait list for styles. I can't believe their popularity. But they are so stinkin' cute!! We ordered 36 cashmere scarves (100% Scottish Cashmere mind you) and they were sold out while it was still 80 degrees outside. We reordered and they are almost gone. ...
